Default Grease fire....

so today there was a grease fire on the stove and we had to pull the thingey on the wall to put it out...it sprayed what seems to be antiefreeze.. does anyone know what one would use to clean the antiefreeze of the stove?

have fun that dry chem shit is a pain in the ass to clean up. Hot water and soap. Also a good oven cleaner works good if it on stainless steel.

It wasn't a pan. It was a industrial oven. by the time we got the oven off and tried to get the flames out, it was spreading too fast, so we had to pull the thing on the wall, which let a pressurized system of antiefreeze put the fire out.

if its a gylcol bases retardent then use soap & water. do not use oven cleaner out side of the oven as it has acid in it. it will eat cast iron and etch the surface of anything thats not baked enamal or stainless.
