Had a Mile Marker SE9500. Used it a couple of times in Michigan and then like the third tug in Tellico it gave up life. After I opened it up, the solenoids were full of silt and they were toast. I bought a Warn XP9500 and it kicks ass even after much use down south the last few years. Save your pennies and buy a Warn. Faster and much more reliable. Just my.02.

the best bet when using any (less expensive) winches is to tear it all open before you mount it so you can seal everything up really good with rtv
