Mookie - make sure you compare length of the shafts. I went through this trying to find a shaft for my 97 TJ 2.5 that I swapped a 4.0 into. The manual tranny with a 4.0 (AX15) is a different length than the 2.5 tranny (AX5), and the auto with the 4.0 is yet again a different length.
