I can drive a manual, but I don't own a manual. If I ever were to buy a manual, it would depend on what kinda driving I had to do the majority of the time. Grid locked on the expressway automatic, or buzzing down backroads and what not I'd choose manual.

Truck is a stick. Buick is an auto.
S10 was a stick. Jeep was a stick and is now an auto . . .

The YJ was my daily driver until I got the HHR Panel, that's an auto because I didn't feel like waiting for a special order and missing out on the price break offer.

It's simple, I'm a man, therefore I drive a manual.

Used to own nothing but sticks, I actually enjoy them in stop and go more then an automatic only because it is more to do and keeps me occupied. Company car now is an auto, but my own vehicle I drive most of the time is a manual.

Manly!

(especially if it's broken power steering!)

I started driving a TJ I recently bought a few weeks ago as my DD, hoping to get a little better milage than my pickup. Thought the manual trans might be fun, but the "fun" wore off pretty quickly. More of a pain in the ass now.

Manual. Always have, always will.

Out of 8 vehicles I have owned, only 3 have been autos, and both of the current vehicles are 5 speeds.

I sit in traffic alot during my commute, so I much prefer the auto in my DD. I do like that the tj is a manual but I don't drive that on the street much.

Just bought a manual trans car, its a lot more fun than an auto.

Stop and go traffic is only bad when its slow enough that you can never get all the way into first gear. But that doesn't happen too often.

Missing from you poll options is "No, but I wish I had a manual DD"

That would be my choice. I had driven nothing but manuals for many years, but the XJ I drove through the winter and the van I just bought are automatics and I hate it.
