Default jeep d30 swap to Ranger

anybody have any tips in doing this? Kinda tossing the idea around...its gonna be a DD truck with 31's or 32s ,and a weekend wheeler. I was thinking a YJ axle with leaf springs would be cool...and flexy. The truck is 84 ranger 4x4.
