Default OK Fine Art Fans ... Help!

I can picture it in my head and have seen it on Art.com, but damned if I can find it again or remember the artist or hat it was called.

It was an "impressionist-style" painting of a woman sitting on the edge of something (bathtub?) and the towel was dropped and her back was naked with the top of her buttcrack exposed.

Does anyone know this painting? If you do, PLEASE send me the name or artist or something!

Thanx!

Very similar but not as defined. I remember a lot of blue in the pic somewhere. The shot was almost straight on to her back.

As I am browsing art.com, the style very much reminds me of Degas

Well, these are a couple of Degas' paintings that I can come up with that I think may be similar to what you are looking for. I will keep thinking...

After the Bath
Edgar Degas

Le Tub
Edgar Degas

Yeah ... I've Google image searched Degas and no dice ... must not be him. If I recall correctly, it is a pretty famous painting!

DANG!

I know which one you're talking about, but I can't place it either.

I believe I remember it being at the DIA though...

I have a degree in fine art. if you are certain it is not an obscure painting I can check my books. there are so many of that subject matter the only thing worse than trying to remember all of them is early italian renaissance frescos.

two of the most famous degas of this subject is called the morning bath & after the bath woman drying. these are covered in any basic rennaisance thru modern survey class.

eugene durieu and eugene delacriox "draped" - however this would fall under the romanticisim period

Yeah ... I musta looked online last night for 2 hours and never did find it! I used to see it everywhere ... thus assuming it was famous!

ovrlnd ... not those either.

It was definitely in color. She might have had a jug of water beside her and been slightly bent over????

... LOL ... a few more descriptives and I'll have to tag it NSFW!
