Default gone on vaca for sons grad for boot camp Pics added 4-8-08

Ok I am out of here for about a week to go watch my son Grad from boot camp. I will be going from Fort Jackson S.C. to Fort Leonard Wood MO. I am leaving Monday night. SO try not to have to much while I am gone and some one post cliff notes for me on the 8th for me any guess on how many posts I will miss? :tonka::tonka:

Enjoy fort lost in the woods, and big John's? Great place to buy a 12 pack in a bucket of ice and enjoy the MO scenery. LOL.

Yes that is what I heard it is called it is in the middle of no wares ville BFE would be close to some wares ville

AIT there. Then Georgia for his jump school.

He really liked Jackson he really HATES fort wood he is there now for the next 8 weeks then to fort bening for jump school. Hopefully when he is half way through AIT he will find out were he is stationed,

That last pic, is that at the reception center at Jackson? Looks disturbingly familiar.


And do you happen to have relatives in the Guard at Grayling? Sgt. Spag (I'm not even going to attempt to butcher the spelling) is usually in my platoon.

No all my family was in the core, he is the first in the army. The last pic is walking out from under his bay by the bank next to gate 2

He is pissed at his AIT right now they over booked the class so him and his buddie make up bravo platoon just the 2 of them till next week. So they are sitting around doing the Army busy work if you know what I mean

Yeah, I did that BS for about a month. My entire class for AIT was in an entirely different barracks than we were supposed to be, because admin was overbooked.
So, our whole finance class was stuck with personnel.

Oh well, that's years ago, and now I'm just waiting for someone to retire so I can get E-5. lol

The funny part is when we got there to drop him off we spent 3 hrs and about 5-6 bldgs trying to find a place to leave him. HE is so anal about being organized that is driving him loppy not being settled yet. Yesterday he made copies all day today he helped transport a wounded combat solider around for his appts and his pt. So his week is slowly buring up and he can start class on Monday.
