i have an avenger r/t that i've put over 14000 miles on, and i have to say, i am absolutely loving the car. when i sold these, i drove the 3.5l, 2.7, and 2.4.

do yourself a favor (imo) and look at a r/t, here's why
mechanically, the 3.5 and the 6 spd auto are a great match. the car moves when you want it to, and i have to say that driving around the metroplex here in dfw, it does quite well in mixed driving mpg(22-24). when i drove down from michigan, i got an average of 27.5 mpg.
also, the suspension is different when you step up, and it makes a BIG difference in both the ride quality and handling of the vehicle.

i'm with you on the interior, i love it's simplicity and ease of use. two things i like the most are the heated/cooled cupholders (actually work), and the automatic climate control, which does a very nice job keeping the set temp.

no problems to report with the car, mechanically i have only changed the oil, and rotated the tires (using synthetic oil now). still smooths shift, starts like the first day it was on the lot, and no quirks in any way (more than i can say about my xj

these are just my opinions, i really like this car, and plan on keeping it a long time, hopefully this helps you out
