agreed...good luck with whatever you do decide on - I do think that the car looks pretty good, much much much better than its sebring counterpart

Thanks. :) I like the look. I like the ride. The visibility around the car seems pretty standard of Dodges/Chryslers (as in you can't see much out of the windows). But other than that, it's pretty great. I think I confused the sales guy. He walked up, asked me what options I was looking for, and I told him I didn't care about options and that I just wanted to feel the difference between the 2.4L and the 3.5L. He then asked me about color. Apparently he didn't quite understand that options and color don't concern me.

Yeah, the one I drove quite a bit over the summer had a 3.5 in it and was AWD....it was only getting like 18 miles on the highway, but we were driving it fairly hard and it wasn't exactly broke in yet

My biggest gripe with the car was the interior issues and I wasn't a fan of the materials used to produce it. Other than that, it seemed like a decent car - it's just too bad they don't sell them with the diesels they put in them over sea's....

And, the only reason I had mentioned the GM thing was employee pricing - I know it's probably only a couple grand off, but in the long run that's a decent chunk of change

I have no idea if I want FWD or AWD. That's one thing I just don't know about. Probably just stick with the FWD.

I have a couple connections, so I probably will be getting employee pricing on the Avenger. :)

Just went threw this a few weeks ago. I didn't like it and the one I drove had the 2.4-4 cyl, what a turd!. The fit and finsh I thought was a little cheap, yes I own a few Dodge's but this one didn't stand out to me. I ended up buying a Honda Civic EX couple for the wife. First tank got 29 mpg city, damn I wish my Dodge truck would get that! Good luck with you hunt for a car.

I guess the two "negatives" that stick out most about it are the 2.4L and the "cheap" interior. The 2.4L problem is easily remedied with the 3.5L. The interior...well...I guess I'm rather partial to that simple styling. What Jeep person isn't?

the interior is crap, the fuel mileage crap, kind of sounds like a jeep, until you find out it doesn't go off-road.
