Default moving out of state

I am moving to ohio, and i want to take some of my rifles with me. the guns were purchased from a licensed dealer and are all properly registered. what must i do to keep everything legal?

Keep them in the front seat with you. If you get pulled over, grab them and step out of your vehicle before the cop approaches. This saves the cop time, as they dont have to ask you to get out or look around for them.

no sorry, not sure what you have to do to keep them legal...i would assume just go to the cop shop and ask for a form, but im not sure

Default Rifles to OH

You'll need to check with Ohio, but in Michigan there is nothing at all to do to take long guns out of state. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that you won't need to do anything at all. Keep them cased and keep your ammunition seperate while transporting.
