Default 302 questions

Iam looking at a jeep with a 302 motor conversion. I was told it was fuel injected at one time. It now has an Offenhauser intake on it. It needs a distributor. I would like to know what distributors I can put on it and how to identify year of motor or weather it is a HO motor or not. I am not Much of a mechanic but any info would help.

there should be a tag or build date stamped on it somewhere. find it and if you can read it llok up the code. that should tell you everything about it. the h.o. engines only came in mustangs.
