I was more concerned with the fact that you don't recall any of your activities from getting the truck stuck or knowing where its at when you woke up. That's a sign of alcoholism. I personally don't care how pounded you get as long as you are far enough away from me and my family that you don't pose a threat. I used to own a wrecker business and I could not believe how many deaths and injuries were caused by alcohol. Probably 80% of the vechicles that I recovered from ditches and fields (on non weather related accidents) had alcohol involved. I was also amazed at how many people died from alcohol related accidents in a small community (Auburn, Michigan). Very few of these accidents or deaths got any attention from the media. I've also witnessed terrible disfiguration of people from alcohol related accidents. You haven't lived until you've recovered a vehicle from a water filled ditch only to find a body underneath it.

Once again, it was not a put down but a concern.

Fair enough. I wouldn't be concerned per say that I blacked out, but I won't lie and say that it wasn't a little fuzzy

FYI, if a cop found you behind the wheel with the engine running, its enough in MI to get in trouble.

Not passing judgement, just relating what happened to someone else I know.

You are correct. I have also heard of it happening.

I have heard of this. On a trip to CO I got wasted and slept in my rental car in the parking lot. I put the keys on the seat next to me. After a while I woke up and moved the car from the back of the lot (next to the road) straight forward to a spot in front of the bar. then keys out and back to sleep. I woke up later and drove back to the cabin 3-5 miles down the road. A cop pulled out right behind me and followed me. The cabin was right off the main road and I was driving straight and proper. They just kept going when I pulled off.
I wonder if they waited for me all night. What was their intent?
