Hey, if your pissed at me for calling someone out on drinking on the trail, tough. Drinking and driving is not cool. If your pissed at me for defending my truck, well, sorry. But, just because your pissed at me don't leave the trail clean up. By leaving the clean up your not hurting me, your hurting everyone, including your selves, by not showing the DNR and USFS that WE (all wheelers from zuks, to bikes and quads, to Jeeps, Chevys, Fords, Dodges, etc) are serious about wanting to make a difference.

So, I guess I am saying, lets put it behind us, all of us had rather high tempers, lets have a and do some wheeling!

Isn't that what you were just yelling at them for doing?

Note: Joining someone elses forum and being impolite, even if you feel justified may not be a good idea and have ramifications beyond making you feel better.

Kaiser, I would never defend someone for drinking and driving, and I really don't care what type of vehicle anyone drives. Face it, we'll all have a good laugh when anyone gets stuck in a mudhole or can't make a hill. I guess I was more offended by the way you went after Shredder for his trail ride. I've talked to others that were on his April first ride and they saw no drinking, and I'm sure Shredder would not have condoned it. But enough of that it's the past, so like you meant, let's do some wheeling and then have a beer

we also met up with other people we ve never met before .. yeah they
have alcohol ... but instead of talking to them about you pointed finger at Shredder and I . which was not right..

thanks for taking thing literally mike, Its greatly appriciated. Ok, lets r-lax, do some wheeling then have no more than one per hour, constantly monitoring our BAC (blood alcohol content) to be sure it is never elevated above the legal limit. Ideal situation though is to have a but have a D.D. so you are not consuming any alcohol then opperating a motor vehicle, machinery, gun, knive, etc.

The finger was never ment to be pointed at you or shredder unless you were drinking. I have lost too many very good friends and seen too many bad accidents where innocent people have been victoms of some one else being being stupid. The most recent drunk accident I was on luckly the only person who got hurt was the drunk that was driving. I do not wish any one to get hurt, but when some one is drunk, crashes, kills some one that was 100% inocent and the drunk walks away, it is not right. Ask anyone that I ever go out with and they will promptly tell you the #1 thing on mind if I am drinking or not is who is driving. I have driven strangers home from the bar, taken keys from FIRE FIGHTERS/EMS wives that wanted to drive drunk, called for rides, etc. Its too easy to avoid to get hurt/killed or hurt or kill someone else trying to have a good time.

I was one of the guys you meet up with on the prerun and it was at the pre run that I saw alcohol being consumed, I was not on your April 1st run, so I don't know if any was consumed then or not.

I will get off my soap box now, but + driving = stupid

The triumph had the best of both worlds, great ground clearance, but it wasn't top heavy. He was just a little overpowered.
