Default spedometer help

I have a 84 ranger with v8 swap and np208 tcase. How does I hookup the spedometer?

um iirc the spedo meter picks up off of the tail shaft of some tcases. i could be wrong. but i belive thats where it should be

yeah i know that. Its a little different than my stock tcase was. Do I need a different cable with the right gear on it made for a 208?

i think you might need to. you might be able to pull one off of a truck with the same driveline.
