had the same issue not too long back with the renix engine in my MJ... put it in Reverse and it'd stall out or you'd have to basically tranny slam it for reverse to work... I found that my trans was pretty low on fluid... but no other real issues... I've tried the control box under the passenger dash and the
"fiberglass sensor" on the engine compartment wall right next to the factory intake box with no avail... My problem solve was i replaced the motor and harness with an H.O. system from a 95 XJ works awesome now..

i'll check in my totes of old wire harness' for a renix computer for ya

MJ: 89 renix 4.0 auto - Great Lakes 4x4. The largest offroad forum in the Midwest

so it running now and I going to pull it come spring for a sbc, fuck it been talking to much so going to just do it now.

bigger tires now... rear is on but swapping to 1/2 ton brakes up front to rid of the big 3/4 ton brake set up so I can run my 15" rims. way more tire options with 15's so H2 had to go.

brake brackets from here ordered.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Dana-60...source=message
thanks to bigblockford79 for getting me the link
Going to trim the rest of bed quarters and bumpstop it for 2" uptravel then go from there..

grinded calipers in order to fit 15" wheel so that I could make Dog Party, 1/2 ton brake setup not be here on time, so once on took it for a test drive,

found my turning radius was less then before,

had to stop bro notice my diff squirting lube,

not as bad as was thinking, just a ring gear bolt backed out and sheared the head off it, even had locktite on them but whatever... so went through all bolts and added more locktite and re-torque.

installed new O2 sensor, keep up the good gas mileage

replaced left side brake line with 36" one, and got ChopperGar a Dog Party gift, a fire extinguisher.

before cut the front section of bed side and after they were cut for clearance.

Now my bro has to play catch up so wanted a before pic next to mine, as he be ordering a 6.5" LA system from RC and putting it up on 35's. So here's that, this same bro that I wheeled with in AL and he had the Toyota truck. He has a 68 FJ-40 he is restoring so needed something to play with that he can scratch.

Dune Coon's teaser shot of his XJ work.
