There's a rv place on Northline between Inkster and Middlebelt that sells RV a/c units pretty cheap.

Nice looking trailer. Too bad it doesn't have rainbows on it like the last cool one I saw.

By the way, that one got rolled this winter coming home from snowmobiling. I guess it survived pretty good.

Bill, not sure if it was mention but look for a roll out RV awning also. 16-20' woud be perfect. Gets you some shade outside the camper on hot days.

I am so buying you a cheesy welcome mat
The welcome mat is a pretty good idea to keep some of the sand and dirt out. We use mats and have a broom mounted to the wall.

Looks like a nice project. I like the way those are built over standard toy haulers. Should make a nice trailer.

Elkhart, IN is the place to go for surplus/scrap/new RV type items. It would be worth your time to take a trip down there or call a few places there and see if they have what you want.

I have the layout pretty much done, besides one hinged table that would fold off of the wall. I'll add that later if I need it.

The tool chest is on castors so that comes out for easy access, and the top then is a table/work bench. The bed is just an inflatable full size (double) bed, $22 from target. The TV was free (already had it). The DVD/CD/stereo was $50 on craigslist. I had to buy about $20 in lumber so far... Also fixed the side door that wouldn't open since the side was dragged...

The extra room under the bed is for the welder and small air compressor, which will both be easy strapped to the floor for transporting. The bed is high enough that I can also sit under the bed on my camping chair.

NOW it's time for paint, then hooking up the surround sound and 12V lighting!!!

Be sure to strap the AV equipment down.......EVERYTHING Moves in a trailer in tow....but I'm sure you know that. (paper towels unroll even, and glasses open up clipped cabinets in ours on the road)

A nice rig. broom was good advice, our travel trailer gets dirty FAST. The roll-out awnings are really nice to have like mentioned above.

.....and kristen, it isn't camping in anything above a pop-up.
