my 65 mer 1 ton has one in it and its tough as nails i just built a new one where expecting well over 300 ft lb of tourque they also make there power at a way lower rpm than a 302 ...I dont think they ever put the 250 300 bb6 in any mustangs tho

240/300 were truck/van only engines. The car straight 6's were 170, 200, 250. The 300 came out in '71.
I learned how to drive in a '69 f-100 with a 240 and 3 on the tree. I now own a '89 f150 with a 300, np435.
