Default craigslist scam?

i posted my truck for sale on craigslist late last night and got a reply this morning. i replied to his email and recieved another one from him in about an hour. i dont have any pictures up yet just a description. here is what he wrote. any input is appreciated

hello
Thank you for the swift reply, I am really ready to buy it from you and I am sure the deal can be rounded up sometimes next week so that I can have a shipper pick it up for me as soon as the fund fund for it has been recieved and verified. so just give me ur full name and address I am a very busyman(truck driver), so I don't have a spare time to either come check it out or bring cash payment but I can assure you of a very secure payment with bank certified check from one of my custormers can have one of them mail check payment to you that will cover the amount I offered and the money that will be will wire the Rest of the Money to the shipper Via Money GRAM money Trasnfer on the picking up from you. Let me know if this works for you so that I will make arrangement on how the check will be posted to you in 2-5 days via dhl. Would have loved to use paypal but I closed my account 2 years ago due to some fraudulent activities on it.
Thanks

I don't think that I would trust that. It sounds fishy.

My bank told me certified checks are the easiest and most often counterfeited forms of payment.

I sold a car on ebay to a guy in maine and he paid with certified checks. I wouldn't let him pick up the car until they cleared.

i already took insurance off of it. i would probably only get $500 anyways. i wrote him back and said to leave a phone number and i would like full cash payment upon pickup of the truck
