Question How much do you think my Camaro is worth? (pics)

as bad as i dont want to im kind of kicking around the idea of selling my camaro, its a 1978 z28 that ive had since i was 16, its been a project for me ever since. last summer i tore out the old motor and put a new one in. i dont even know how much stuff i put into it but ill try to remember.

brand new 355 Blueprint crate engine, im talkin brand new, started twice since i put it in. so its still not broken in. dynos at almost 400 horse, $3,445.00, warranty for 30 months or 50,000miles, started last july i think.
flowtech headers
3in dual exhaust
flowmaster mufflers
traction bars
holley 650 double pumper
big k&n air filter
nice holley fuel pump
accel distributor
a super hot coil
fat tires on the back, killer look
interior-needs the driver seat redone, and the door panel redone, other than that its not bad at all
exterior, is a little rough, if you want it really nice it needs to be repainted, and either some bondo or new panels which are cheap for z28's, radiator was just flushed cleaned and painted. new water pump, hi flow fan, B&M stall converter i believe its a 2500 stall, not sure on the gearing in the rear, the tranny acts sticky sometime, but not always. custom sunroof that doesnt leak. power windows that work...sometimes. msd ignition wires, i have an extra intake for it and a bunch of other stuff i know im leaving stuff out but just getting an idea. these pics are from last year and the car looks good in em. its not in mint condition, but far from a junker. just let me know what you guys think, thanks.

I had a 79. Factory 4spd car..

Unfortunately it's not worth much more than what the motor cost you. Keep it and drive it. You will just be sorry later on if you give it away now. You will hit your mid-life crisis and spend a ton of money to buy someone else's Camaro that is "just like the one I had in High School."

2-3k. Keep it or keep the engine and sell it as a roller.

its not worth it to sell it. my dad has a 77 with only 22,000 miles and in mint condition, all stock. and its not worth a thing. their more fun to drive then the money you would get out of it

x2 thats why i still own my 77 trans am and have only put 4K in mileage on it in 4 years....

i say 3000-3500

if ya shorten the wires, add an heater box, and a fan shroud, and a real air cleaner (just pray your engine never has a sputter through the carb cause it'll catch the foam on fire and melt down into the carb) maybe 3750.....FWIW

edelbrock carb cover/breather, had one on my roadrunner when I bought it. Actually starves the engine a little; 1" thick foam. Get rid of it, if the engine backfires once through that carb, you better have an extinguisher on hand.

Keep the car, I sold my muscle car, and have been kicking myself in the balls ever since.

Those 2nd gens are starting to fetch more coin, but that is for ones that are done nicely, or stock and clean. Unfortunately this one has a lot signs of the mullet-mobile.

if it were to me i'd say 1k, but thats because i hate these cars. Ugly as sin, but like said above, get the rite person looking for one and you could get some money from them.

Why are you selling? Pull the engine and throw it in somthing else

at least that is a performance mod... the only way to get fast radials without tubbing the body/chassis.

I bet this thing would actualyl rip pretty well on a track
