Default lawn tractor parts

I've been doing some work on my lawn tractor, lookin' to make it a little bit faster, and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the following:

5 or 6 speed transaxle (a Peerless would be nice)
a seat - mine is a piece of shit. can't justify spending 50 bux at TSC for a tractor that cost me $0.00
23x10.50x12 ag style tires, for some sweet traction (wheels too?)
a new hood - I rolled this thing at tractorfest last year, bent it up pretty good. make and model unimportant, but the crappier the better (i.e. mtd, murray, etc....)

if you have any of the above, name a price.

edit: I just realized that the only item listed above that will make it faster is the transmission.

I'm really just trying to make it look awesome

I just found this post about 7 or 8 pages back to bump it, didn't realize I had replies.

The tractor is actually a huskee, built in 1981. It's got a Tractor Supply Company logo on the front (I didn't know TSC existed in '81??)

It's a belt-driven transaxle - I've already swapped out the pulley to make it go fast. It only has a 4-speed, and I've been looking around E-bay, lots of 6-speeds are available. The more gears to grab the better. There are certain 6-speeds that are known for their durability (mine sux, i think)

It's 16 horse vertical shaft. I just tore it down to the bare "frame" to add a subframe and brakets for steering support, etc..

let me know if you've got anything. PM me or something

all 16 horses (soon to be more )

I figure if I'm going to be poppin' wheelies, I'd better beef it up a little.

putting the finishing touches on the new front axle (I widened it to about 28" so I don't flip over anymore!)

here you can see the HD steering, complete with 1/2" aurora heims :tonka:
