I heard you fell too! Glad you didn't get hurt but you have no luck in Pontiac. You should start going around that town, it's bad luck for you!! I haven't got mine out yet, still salt power on the roads, need a real good rain first before I'll bring mine out.

They need to add a lesson about what weather you should ride in RJ's class. :tonka:

More like a very slow slide at a light. Hardest part of the ride was keeping it upright sitting still at red lights. No damage at all to the bike, pissed me off more than anything. Oh well, I chose to ride in this weather, have to take the good with the bad.

I probably already have more miles this year than some people will get the rest of the season total. Hope to get a few good long distance rides in to out of state runs. Have to see how the season goes.

Lowlock, that's all you ever do with it, is look.

I started mine just to warm it up and change the oil. My dad was kind enough to inform me he has over 1800 miles this year already. And of course he just had to add heated grips to his heated vest now.

Anyone get their two wheeler out yet?

RJ, you don't count because you're one old hardcore dude who rides year round.

I've been riding for almost a month now but I am down here in cincinnati.

My pops got me some chaps this winter and all I can say is Leather Rocks!!

I also bought a neoprene skull mask for my face and that keeps it nice and toasty. It was really cold this morning so I thought I would wear the full helmet and that was a mistake because of the wind coming up under and hitting my neck and chin . . . brrr....

Edit: and with Diesel being $4.09 I'll be riding it everytime the sun is out!!

I put 17,482 miles on my road king from may to august. That included 2 trips to TN and a few trips up north to my mothers house. Other than that it was commuting and riding around with curt1656 on the back of my bike.

Bought it end of may, totaled it august 15th.

Sans totalling, I would still be riding.

I think I did ok, minus the whole totaled thing.
