you people jump to conclusions, I went with cut down d44s that will bolt right into my cj. I like easy LOL. The only problem is when I was unloading it I noticed that thedriver side shafts were broke. Yes I got a break on the axle, but now it is no longer a bolt in and go LOL

Its all about driver, I was running 35in boggers on a d30 and never broke. Quite listing to all the web wheelers

Alright, I was just saying as someone who snapped a stub shaft on my D44 with 35s. Guess it was the driver in my case

Everything is gonna break eventually regardless of tires size. My Dana 30 lived a long time with 36"and 37" tires, I think the 44 would be fine.

When mine dose I will go chromo. These are also custom shafts, cause they are narrowed...........so the are not 30+ yrs old

Axles are in, ended up buying a chromo inner and spicer joints. Just need to bleed brakes and get the tires on. I am sure I have some trimming to do LOL
