Are you really voting for Obama?

We rarely agree on politics, but I would not consider you uneducated, or uninformed.

Have you researched any of his policies? Do you even know his stance on anything?

Not trying to call you out, I am just curious about what his appeal is.

Obama is an idiot, and I feel like alot of people are going to fall for his crap and we could end up with an incredibly stupid president. Not that the other leading candidates are really much better.

He's new. He's only been a senator for 2 years, hopefully new enough to not be too corrupt yet. This is a plus for me. He's charming and gives great speeches. Other than that, any reason I vote for him is more of a reason why I'm not voting for somebody else (McCain 2008).

If we could go back in time and get the McCain from the 2000 election I might consider him.

Daryl, If senators who are "backing" him can't even name ONE single thing he's ever accomplished, then I don't think Mike Sova can.

Abraham Lincoln had the same amount of experience as Obama when he became president.

Lincoln would have kept slavery legal to keep the early states united:

"If I could preserve the Union by freeing all the slaves, I would do it. If I could preserve the Union by freeing no slaves, I would keep them all in bondage. If I could preserve the Union by freeing some and leaving others enslaved, I would do that."

just a fun fact.

Lincoln was anti-slavery and he did free the slaves. I understand he would do what he had to do in order to preserve the union.

If it weren't for Lincoln, we would not be having this discussion, because he would be a slave, not a presidential candidate.

How's that for offensive. :tonka:
