Post delete T-case for a 96 XJ aw4 transmission delete

T-case for a 96 XJ aw4 transmission/T-case is a 231-J with a 27 spline count
I dont want to spend a lot of cash on this. All im really needing is a rebuildable core. My case is cracked from a front end impact. The front axle got T-boned which shoved the driveshaft into the case and cracked it open. So im hoping to do a parts transfer.
I dont need all the guts, just a good housing, high mileage case welcome. Rather the case be from a EastEnder.(my side of the town)

I have a 231 J t-case. It is a 23 spline input shaft. I have never heard of 27 spline input, only 21 and 23. If all you need is the case, it shouldn't matter. The t-case I have, has the exposed rear output shaft. There is a boot on the driveshaft that covers it. I grabbed this for my sister in laws XJ. I don't know the milage, I disassembled and reassembled it to check out what was wrong with it. I didn't see any problems.

It is located in Waterford, and I could deliver it to your house if needed. $100.
Let me know.

I have a complete housing from an '89 XJ with an AW4. I can strip all of the stuff out of the inside and ship if off to you... Case is already split and mostly disassembled.

Housing is in good shape, but could use a good cleaning. ? $50 ? + shipping and its yours.

Let me know if you are interested. It would be all 4 of the pieces and nothing from inside. I don't know what the going rate for these are.

I am located in Houghton (49931) at the moment as I am away at college.
