if your talking cost, JBG has a SAS kit for broncos for $1900, its a direct bolt in and i am pretty sure it would work with an f-150 too.

might be, i believe it comes with all new lift stuff, plus all the stuff to install the solid axle.
as far as the axle you could probably find one on the forum for a few hundred bucks.

I got a 79 truck for $150, got some 7* c bushings, torched everthing off and installed into my truck in about a week. I am very happy with it!

I have done several of these conversions. If you supply the axle and springs I will do the rest for $700. Pm me if you have any questions. If you are interested in some pics i can get those also. Or if you'd like look at n8big's avatar that is one i did.
