Default Studded Tires

I was curious to know if anyone else in MI was running studded tires on a motorcycle or dirt bike during Winter for ice? And what are you running them on?

I have ran them on an old honda 350 3-wheeler....worked great on the ice, never rode it in the snow really.

Used sheet metal screws for the "studs".....

My son studded his Yamaha ttr250 so he could ride it on the local creek but there was to much snow. He used 1,000 Cold Kutters

I borrowed a set of studded tires for my banshee once, traction was unbeilevable on ice. It trashes a set of tires, takes forever to put studs in, and cost quite a bit, hence the reson i borrowed.

My brother bought a set of ice pick tires for his KTM 525. That thing was insane on the ice.
