Yup, no dents or dings. 1 owner too. It'll be a driver until I get bored with it or it looks like Greasyhands or Curbdogs then I might go bonkers, at least a little.

It will be a long weekend next week, the boss is taking off Thurs thru Mon for the holiday so I roped him into letting me use the shop to do my list of crap. Hopefully I'll get off my ass and do it. Maybe a victory dance at the cookout the next Sunday.

I'll be amazed when I can actually drive this thing. Thing as been shop decoration for a few years. Been thinking of getting out of all this build crap and sell everything. You know how long that would last.............

Finally got the exhaust done. I did it from the tailpipe forward to get everything positioned for the front, that was a huge PITA.

Here are pics.

Tail

Front Y-pipe

Got the spare set, found a matching wheel and by a stroke of luck a new tire that matches the ones on it already.

I wasn't planning on this taking all day, but it's done. Now tomorrow I can service the trans and put the front receiver on and whatever I have time to tinker with.

I've had this for 4 years now and being on the hoist, I finally got a good look at the bottom.

It's not a cream puff.

Did more today.

Here's today's carnage.

Front receiver.

A little idea I picked up eons ago for the 700r4. Take the electrical plug for a 400 trans (Electric kickdown) and put it in place of the 4 wire plug on the 700. Makes wiring the lockup solenoid easy, 1 spade for both sides.
400 left, 700 right. This is the connector that passes thru the case.

I need a lift. Gonna have to order it soon. I'll have coil spacers, shackles and new JK shocks for sale once I get them off.

If it isn't 1 thing, it's 13 others.

I should've gotten into something brainless and don't cost a fortune........

I haven't looked at it in over a week. Could give a $hit less about it at the moment. If the price was right, it would disappear.

Soooo next spring will bring another update? Looks like streaching the front would do more good than a just a lift imho.

Nah, sooner than that. The drivers downpipe needed to be redone anyway. Fix that then I won't need a lift.............. yet.

Taking vacation time next week, this list of crap WILL disappear. Of course a whole new list will start. If I rock it a day or so I should be golden.

$hit to do:
Drivers downpipe.
Back the rear brakes off, they are a bit tight.
Fix the trans fluid leak at the T/V cable.
Rework the factory disco to be locked all the time.
Anything else I'm forgetting.......

I'm still looking for a sponsor.

The pile is on the rack at work ready for a gentle touch or a big hammer.

Maybe the elves will finish it over the weekend................
