Default How many miles a week do you do for work alone?

300 to 360 a week for me not including my wife. I may have to start riding a bike to work. Gas prices will put a dent in my checking account if they do indeed go higher this spring/summer.

Those of you who work less than 5miles from home

I drive about 50 a day. Give or take depending on the day.

MWF - Both the Explorer and Escort so about 100 total
TTh - The escort only 50 miles

Now, how many miles I drive at work....

Bus - Base - 40 or so a day. On a Busy day maybe 100
Delievery Van - 13-15
Plow truck - 30-40. Not including all the reverse.

My last job before UORC (10 miles a day) was 115 miles a day, 6 days a week. I put 70K on my Jeep in a year and a half.

depends on the week
if I am/am not on the road
last week I did 1464 miles. (but I will get reimbursed at $.505/mile)

Most weeks though it is about a 5 mile drive to the office.

If I don't have to run errands, only 60 miles a week. Worst Case. Probably average about 150 miles a week with errands for work.

40 mile round trip per day right now so 200 per week. I'm getting 25 mpg with my car, so I spend roughly $30-$40 a week which isn't too bad.

In a couple months my round trip will drop to 20 miles when I move, so I'm looking forward to the drop in my gas bill.
