[QUOTE=...or an old fashioned rally in DC by the reflecting pool...[/QUOTE]

that's how it seems to get done in other countries. granted that is typically socialist, where the only way to get change is by marching on the capital etc. unfortionately here in the US we are usually content to sit down an b**ch with a group of friends versus actually going out and doing something

am i saying i would drop school for a week to march on washington in a protest/strike... that i do not know... but people power would be hard to ignore

I have no problem paying a few thousand more a year to not drive a VW.

thats the key. Everyone bitchs about gas prices, then they drive 80 mph on I75. Slow the fawk down and you'll be amazed. I don't run my PSD over 2100 rpm, about 68mph empty. Loaded I slow down even more.

My paretns spent almost a grand in fuel last month, and thats with 87 octane

I keep my IDI at about 2150 rpm so I can do about 60 mph. Even at that high of an rpm, I'm pulling 17.5 mpg. I'd much rather tun it around 1900, but then I'd get run over. Stupid 4.56 gears.
