Shock collars are for insane asylums. Try some obedience training with positive reinforcement. Shocking a dog will just make them not want to do anything you want them to do. Same goes for choker collars.

hey man
I bought for my dogs the sportdog 400 i think. They seem to work great and have a lifetime warranty and are waterproof and what not. They run about $150ish new. I know there are cheaper collars out there but lifetime warranty and waterproof.

I've seen people that have used shock collars and if they are used right work very well. If you are just setting it on the highest setting and buzzing the dog for the heck of it, then I would agree with you.
