Default FS: 2000 F250 Powerstroke, ready to deal!

Looking to sell my Powerstroke. Its a 2000 with 71xxx miles on it, unknown lift kit and 315 bfg a/t's. I did a bunch of basic upkeep to it including u-joints, a drivers side wheel bearing, and brakes, also a new glow plug relay and the cam sensor recall. Only problems are the power door locks are giving up on life, and the lcd readout on the factory cd player doesn't work. The inside of the bed is scratched up and has some dings on the wheel wells.

Aftermarket intake and exhaust
4" lift, 315/75R16 BFG A/T's
Matching spare
Hitch and brake controler
Cold A/C
Very little wear
Never had hitch in bed!!
full width 1pc floor mat up front, over $100
nice inexpensive seat covers

Its a pretty basic XLT with bucket seats, power windows and locks, cruise, tilt wheel, factory cd player, and factory running boards. Inside and out its very clean and shows almost no wear, just turned 71,000 miles last month! It did have a bed liner but it was all warped and didn't sit flat so I took it out with intentions to do a spray liner just never got around to it.

The truck runs down the road pretty good for a lifted truck, the ride is a bit stiff though. But it runs straight and is easy to drive, the drivetrain is in perfect shape! Here is a list of what I've done to the truck since i've owned it, pretty basic stuff really.

2 new spicer u-joints, rear drive shaft
drivers side wheel bearing asm replaced
drivers side caliper replaced
new front brake pads
turned rotors
front end alignment
rotated and ballanced all 5 tires
New glow plug relay
Cam Position Sensor recall

Now the bad!! After I took out the bedliner the bed was scratched up underneath the liner and had a few dings on the wheel wells. The 5th tire and wheel, the spare, won't ballance. I was asured there was nothing wrong with it and it was safe to use. The LCD readout on the factory CD player used to work but now it doesn't, for some reason though it will work when its really cold out! But the biggest thing wrong with the truck is the power locks don't seem to be working well in the cold. They worked fine over the summer, but as it got colder they just don't seem to work. They try but just don't have enough in them to lock and unlock. I looked into the cost to replace them and it was under $100 for a pair of actuators from Ford.

I also have a Diablo Preditor power programmer for it that I personally never used. It has 5 power settings but I got terrible mileage using it, even on its lowest setting of 60hp. I think it also had a 40hp towing setting also. But the last time I had the truck to the local Ford garage they reprogrammed my PCM and now the tunner wont recognize the truck. I called the manufacturer and they said they just need proof of the work done and they can fix it. I have the work order from Ford saying what they did, so it should be no problem to get that working.

I'm asking $16,750 and the truck is located in Upper MI. I can deliver it personally just about anywhere for a couple bucks for fuel. I'll bring it to North Carolina for free, my parents live there and are always bugging me to visit! I have a bunch of pictures from over the summer, email me at mcocco78@chartermi.net for more pictures.

I went back to school last year and it ate up my savings. If I sell it I should be able to pay for next years tuition without taking out a student loan.

Bump, any interesting trades? I'm looking for some 37-40" tires for 17" rims. That would knock a couple bucks off the asking price!

I can't really move to much on the price, maybe a couple hundred, I paid $18k for it a year ago and only put 10k miles on it. I also ended up putting about $600 into it fixing parts that passed the dealers 100 pt inspection, brakes, wheel bearings, ujoints... I can't really afford to take a big hit on it, but make an offer if your interested.

I would consider an older stock cherokee or comanche, 4.0L, 5-speed for partial trade. Or i'm looking for 2 37x13.5r17 toyo mt's. But I would need to come out with enough cash to pay my loan off, $14,000

I just pulled it out of the yard the other day and drove it to school round trip was over 100 miles, it got 17mpg on the trip. I pretty much only drive this on the weekends around town, if we go anywhere we take my pile of shit 28mpg cutlass supreme.

Man, I can't believe this thing hasn't sold yet. I'd love to buy it but just plain don't have the money right now. I might as well throw this out there to see if it's at least worth thinking about....any interest in an '01 Ram 1/2 ton for a partial trade? Offroad package plus 3" suspension lift, 35" Cooper STTs on 17x9 Dick Cepek DC1s, 360, auto, 4.10 gears, lots of new parts thanks to the warranty it still has, 106k miles, runs and drives great, etc. It's a mall crawler so it hasn't been wheeled besides rare trips to Silver Lake. I can give more details later if you're interested.

Thats a nice truck, love dodges and used to have a 97 club cab cummins I sold to someone that lives down by "the henry ford". but I really need to get out of this loan payment to help pay for school otherwise its pointless to get rid of it.

I really hate to get rid of it as i've never seen another 7.3L diesel in this good of shape with only 71k miles on it!!

This offer still stands if you're more open to partial trades now....
