opions on birfield eliminator

im talking about the kit form http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/.
has anyone used it or should i just get stock shafts for now and longfileds later? planning on running a 38" tire.

x3 for longfields. I have 38.5s and a heavy foot. Everythings still intact up there (I also run the longfield chromo hub gears and FROR/ARP hub studs).

x4 on longs. They aren't that expensive and you shouldn't have to worry about them breaking unless you're running giant tires or a V8.

I was thinking of getting the same thing with ctms but i think im just going to hold out and get longfields and chromo hub gears

I was thinking about Birf Eliminator kit myself but it makes your axle about equal to a D44 which isn't recommended to wheel hard anything bigger than 35's, and i want something stronger so when i save up enough pennies I'm gettin Long's!

And just so everyone knows Longs are warrantied for life, BUT if u dont but there hub gears for your lockouts and you strip the end of a axle shaft its not covered

... still broke them, though. Gotta pull the front axle apart this weekend...
