97 F150 Misfre ???

hi guys,
I am trying to diagnose a misfire problem on my 97 f150. It had bad coils and I replaced those and while doing that I got new plugs and wires too. Now my problem is still around, however its only cylinders 4 and 8. Before it would be anyones guess to which cylinder would be the problem. I ran injector cleaner through it and no change. Any thoughts??

Swap the plug wires to different cylinders and see if the miss follows. A friend of mine had the same problem and went through 3 sets of value craft plug wires on his truck untill I convinced him to buy a set from the stealership to cure it. If you still have your old set try running them on the offending cylinders.

i aggree with idieselman my buddy has the 97 and had the same problem went through 2 packs, countless plugs an wires. finally got another set of wires and i dont know what was different but it fixed it.

I have a 97 had the same problem it ended up being cyl 4 in the back on passenger side .... the little coolant tube that is right above it that factory clamp needs replaced this was an actuall fix that ford did was to cut it off an replace the clamp it will drip down in the spark plug hole an cause a mis fire i had to clean the hole all out after that and just did plugs and everything then

no not really atleast not for me its like 2 inches from the fire wall back there its not an adjustable clamp it was one of those crimp type from the factory ..... but there is a steel pipe that comes off the intake by that spark plug hole it comes up about 3 or 4 inches then turns about 90 degrees pointing directly towards the drivers side but right where rubber and metal meet are above the last hole

mine didn;t leak alot at all. and could not really see it just noticed there was a lil tiny bit of coolant n the intake.. but my boss told me that he saw a few come in to the shop and ford said to change the clamp clean the hole an connection and go from there
