Default USPS Forever stamps

Ironic.
They are good for first class postage forever.
But they won't be for sale forever.

I havent' checked into these yet, but it should be a safe bet that these would increase in value substantially as the rate of postage goes up exponentially over the next couple of years.

it might be interesting to trendline the last 30 years worth of postage hikes and attempt to determine if buying a buttload of these stamps, and then reselling them would beat a traditional government bond :tonka:

The Forever stamps are just a sales/marketing tool. Now, whenever stamp sales start to lag, they just need to announce a 1 or 2 cent raise and people will run to the post office to buy stamps before the increase takes affect.

Generally speaking I only use the USPS when I need to send a notice for litigation via registered/certified mail.

I do my banking/billing online, as well as a significant amount of shopping, which is typically shipped via FedEx/UPS
