I can find out for you. I am sure it does, but I do not know how liquor licenses work in Michigan.

My mom wants to move home to be with her grandson. So she wants out of the bussiness. She is the only owner/operator of this bussiness. There are no partners to deal with.

Liquor licenses are tough in Michigan. However, you can purchase the bar, operate it, and apply for the license transfer. Normally, the owner of the LL will get a cut during this process. 'Normally' the bar and the license are sold seperately, as there is no quarantee of the new owners qualifing under MLCC rules.

You better be squeeky clean........Michigan: The Mother Land of Draconian Liquor Laws.

Anyway...Nice looking place.....

Yeah, be prepared for an extensive investigation. The MLCC will find out everything it can about you. It can be a long process. A liquor license is commonly sold with an establishment. Unless the owner is going to open another place in the same city, it is of no use to them. You will have to be approved by the liquor control commission before the license is transferred to your name.

It took my mom about 3 months to get her license. That is from the time of application till the license was issued.

It was the Lincoln House. She bought it and renamed it Lundlanders after she purchased it.

This was back in 2004-2005 time frame.

I'd love this bar I really would. This is my hangout when I'm in town and I'd love to pick it up as a hobby bar But considering I'm just starting out, in a new state no less, and having to support a lazy college student I'm gonna have to pass.

FWIW this bar is the tits.
