Default New forum suggestion

Ever thought about a forum dedicated to trail repairs and recovery techniques? It could include pics from the trails of things done right and things done wrong with recovery along with ideas and pics of how to do some trail repairs. There has been more than one creative repair out in the woods and they get lost if put in places like the pub.

Recovery tech could go in 4x4 products and how too's? Maybe even repairs also.

I'd be afraid of burying it in the products area. I'd like to see it in a visible area for ease of education.

I think this is a good idea.

Especially with the fact that a trail repair is alot different than a garage repair for something. Some tips and tricks regarding trail fixes would be cool for those who are uneducated.

What should the name of this forum be?

Who's going to take care of it?

That is actually in the works right now. Soon, GL4x4 will also have content, instead of just a forum.

The new layout will have a tech section that then falls back to the forum for "discussion".

Yup. We also did a trail repair that some had never seen.

As whiterhino said, " Trail Repairs and Recovery Techniques" would be suiting.

I can take care of it if you want.

I like the idea, however implementing it before the changes seems a little ghey.

Love it!

I've seen some truly ingenious repairs that worked - and worked well, that I'd have never come up with.

A place to list and discuss them would be helpfull; and the bad ones work for good entertainment (as well as discussion about how to do it right the next time).
