that's funny sprint don't have roaming, or at least they didn't and their service area sucked when I had them! Especially for me driving across the country!

I have ATT now and have great service pretty much everywhere!

I have Sprint and I only roam occasionally but I have a 700 roaming minutes built into my plan (50% of my anytime minutes can be roaming) typically when I roam I am on a Verizon or alltell tower my friend has Verizon and he says it works better than Sprint, however my sprint works better than my girlfriends Verizon does in TN, when you get up into freemont the only way to go is nextell, because verizon, sprint, and alltell, all cease to exist.

I hate nextell because of the direct connect, I hate alltell because of all the "out of home area" charges I got on my "nation wide plan" back in the day, I have sprint now and they get pretty anal when you have a poor payment history on their system, my friend clames he could never get someone to give him the same payment amount twice some times you do have to watch your bill with sprint because they will sneak in something especially when you change services (texting internet ect...) my boss had Verizon for a few years and he would always drop calls when he went out to Muskegon but sometimes we think he did that just so he could get off the phone.

No matter who you go with they all have their poor service areas and billing faults.

I think that Verizon is the best, but also the most expensive. I went to ghetto MetroPcs. The service is great as long as you don't go north of 32 mile road. :) $45 a month for unlimited everything.

I had Alltel, got rid of it for Nextel which sucked the large balls. I now have Alltel again.

MyCircle kicks so much ass.

I have Verizon and I love it. It works great everywhere I go, from all of Michigan to California, no joke. I know you have to go into Settings/Tools and set your phone system on (Automatic A) so it will work everywhere. You should have 3 choices; Home, Auotmatic A, and Automatic B. I found that out the hard way, my phone was set on (home) from the verizon store and it would not work anywhere but it your home area.

I have AT&T with a Razr V3xx. Works great no problems. I switched from Nextel after I bought a new house and it wouldn't work in it.

I was thinking of writing that in the original post.
"Nextel sucks balls and was thinking of switching to something new."

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!
