Question which ford 8.8???

I am going to be putting a ford 8.8 in the back of my 93 wrangler. I have found 2 lines on different axles, and i am not sure which one i should get.
1.) 31 spline 8.8 from an explorer with new 4:10 gears, drums, and welded spider gears for $100. This axle can be delivered.
2.) 31 spline 8.8 out of an explorer with 4:10 gears, disks, and a limited slip(No idea the condition of the differential. $125. And i have to drive 2 hours there, and two back, so probably another $40 buck in gas. I am trying to decide which one i should get. This will be driven on the road some, like around town, and to work. (NOT on the highway) Please let me know what everyone thinks.

#2 for sure. Welded on the street will suck, and disc brakes are like 1/2 of the reason I'm doing my 8.8 swap. I paid $200 last week for one with 4.10's, LSD, and crap rotors with no calipers and it really wasn't a bad deal.

i repacked my old LS in my 8.8 and when i replaced the clutches i added an extra clutch to each side and put an F-150 S-Spring in it and it was super tight. Would chirp around certain corners.

True...I had a buddy who used to rebuild a lot of Trac-Loks for people. I believe basically that is what Ford uses?
