ive got an 88 f150 that had the 351w and a c6. how hard would it be to put this in there? would the trans bolt up? the 351m is still a short block right?
i might be real interested.

your windser is a small block,the m is a big block bolt pattern 351m,400m,429,460

I've had a couple that have wanted it, but it's just a tad heavy to ship across the country. It's hard selling an engine that had such a short lifespan in the factory, not to mention that it's the smallest of the family (although more than one person has said that the 400 doesn't make any more power, but certainly uses more gas). Stupid Ford can't be consistant with its designs. One of these days I'll get around to throwing it on ebay and see what happens, but not until this semester is over. I've even contemplated tearing it down and parting it out.

if you are looking for a 4wd c-6 trans, i have one that i could part with, minus the t-case though. it worked great but i went to a divorced t-case setup and put a different c-6 in. this one has been rebuilt once before i owned it, and i was told it had a shift kit in it. shifted well regardless. comes with stock torque convertor.
