Default Listing of the top Miserable Cities.

Three guesses for number one............... The first two don't count!

I'm amazed Detroit is number 1. With a slumping economy, shitty weather, shitty roads, and a rising unemployment rate I figured it'd be the happiest city!

In one of my SELF or Womens Health magazines they broke down the healthiest/unhealthies, safes/unsafe, celanest/dirties. happy/unhappy, etc...yeah D town didn't reallly rank anywhere good sad bc it could be a fun place again...i like going downtown...just could be better...

and you know, this trash talk of Flint is really getting on my nerves, yea the city needs help but there are a lot of positive attributes of Flint that I wish people would see, it might just need some polishing. Downtown Flint really isn't that unsafe, they are rennovating a lot of the buildings, bringing in new small businesses and building a few lofts (some are already filled and have leases signed), the city is really focuing on the 4 colleges in the area (Kettering, U of M Flint, MCC and Baker). There is a video that was done by the Chamber of Commerce and I watched it a while ago, really helps you see the positive side of the city. And I have been involved in a few meetings of a group of folks who are investing in the city and trying to make it better...
