no sir. I thought about getting it dipped but it would cost to much and it will just get beat up anyways. I'm just going to sand it down and use chasis savor paint. Going to be picking up a 727 auto trans within the next few days mated to a hd np231 WOOHOO finally i can get that stuff in and do SYE and driveshafts. I'm going to do a line lock/roll control for an E-brake type deal when i need to lock the rear tires on the trail...but yea i'll have more tomorrow

I have done a ton of stuff since I last did an update... I will have to write it all out later on. But for now I'd just like to show off my cage. First time ever using a bender. Bought the JD2 and it works great!

I will tie it to the frame later on. At the moment I'm just doing 3 trips to silver lake. I will also add some gussets and grab handles in the front.

Bash away....

the top pics are from... 3 years ago?

http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y39/Plato2k5/

has the entire story of pics.

I used 1.75 x .120 wall DOM

thanks GMO. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. My dad and I have never used a tubing bender...so we learned as we went on.

Thanks and I wouldn't mind doing another for a small fee.

I spent $450 on tubing and that was delivered to the house.

No tom.... The welds on those are hideous. I think I was getting high off the fumes while welding.

Looks cool, but aren't the seat mounts a little too far forward?
