Thinking of selling My jeep what do you guys think I should ask$$

87 yj runs great. I bought it in NY and it was well takin care of, with the frame and underbody all coated there is no hidden rust. anywhere. paint is not as nice as the pics. just a little faded and not that glossy unless its waxed. The motor had a complete rebuild about 10,000 miles ago by a shop and now has like 120k. Heres a list of what it has.

4.2 liter rebuilt
manual trans stock
231 transfer case
SYE kit
bumpers w/d-rings
headers
aluminium intake
4 barrel Holley
no emissions BS
ignition uprade
high flow exhaust
8000lb ramsey
D60 rear welded
D44 hp front detroit trutrac
rustys traction bar
new 38" TSL on H1 rims
corvette master cylinder
disc brakes f & r
1 ton steering
SOA with 2 inch springs
small exo
electric fan
new radiator
new alternator
new water pump
led tail lights
rhino lined interior
soft top (no soft doors)
hard top
hard doors
new windshield and frame
CB
new cd player
waterproof spkrs

And all the other stuff that it takes to make a jeep go anywhere.

things I would do

change the ba-10 to a hd trans. ( but I never had any probs with this one)
new lift springs these ones are getting a little worn
change the hoop on the front I dont like the way it looks now or at least clean it up with some diamond plate
paint the new hard top black

If any one has any opions please let me know.

Thanks Alot

I suggest you give it to me. Why would you sell such a gem?

So use the jeep to run away from the attorney and then you don't have to do either.

Nice setup. The only thing holding it back is the carb'd 4.2 and the BA-10.... So this would make a great canidate for someone looking to do a V8 swap or someone who has a 4.0 and trans out of a later model laying around.

I would think its worth $4-5K as is..

Maybe around here. I've been looking at ended ebay auctions for jeeps like this, and they're selling for $6k-$8k.

Only if you remove the 2 stickers on it. With the stickers, $3K

Actually in this market, $4500 to $6000 would be my guess.

I would guess 4-5K too. I think it is actually worth more though.
