Default dumb plow question

say you get plowed or do plowing for someplace and the shit starts coming down hard during the heavy business time and you got customers aka walmart style up in your lot. If it gets so deep they can't push the carts around the lot to their cars what do you do? If you plow you're going to leave little moguls behind everyone and them little VW's aren't going to get out of the parking spaces.

I don't give a shit really, but it was a "how the hell" moment I had

Contractors will keep the lanes clear the best they can until the store closes or slows down.
Nothing you can do about the snow behind the cars.

Thats where a V-blade really works well.

they plow our lot with a large front loader with a huuuuggggee plow like thing on the front. It catches the snow more than a plow does and does not leave the big piles behind the cars.

No thanks.

The company I contract for has four of them.

On a side note, Early this morning I thought I would be a nice guy and plow our streets in the sub. The snow/slush was so damn heavy I took out four mailboxes.
Didn't realize it until I came around to take a second pass and seen them laying on the lawns.

I went home and went to bed, which is what I need to do right now. Looks like a long night ahead.

I heard of folks doing that back in the day and having one asshole on the street report them to the city and the city issuing them a ticket for doing it.

I've had people come out and yell at me for putting a ridge in front of there driveway.
If I know it's an older couple living in the house I always clear the bottom.

fucking old people. I have several that live near our customers and come out every fucking push to tell me its against "village ordinance" to push the snow across the street. God forbid a pile of snow should accumulate in their ditch

SO damn annoying, I cant wait to have nothing better to do with my life than make others lives miserable.

As for commercial lots Stan has it covered. I have seen some cars get pretty piled in though, not that I would ever do such a thing:tonka:
