I would say a 5.5" would do it with trimming or a body lift. I have 35's with a 5.5" and have more then enough room. Here is mine...

38's need 5.5" susp with lots of cutting. I am attempting 37's with a 3.5" lift and even more cutting.

i hate to cut too much on it. it looks pretty pristine. all metal and all stock. its from pennsylvania. if its half as nice as it looks in pictures im gonna swap the guy.
302/c4/d20. it will be an np435 pretty soon after i get it though. has rear fenders trimmed up with 33's and a brand new 3inch lift. id look into a 5.5 inch suspension and a body lift and 37's. hopefully little or no trimming. thx

p.s. the twin turbo setup is bad ass! nice looking rig!

Might need to relocate rear axle back aways, both my 73 w/35's and 77 w/33's rear tires hit front of rear wheelwels under some conditions.
