Females are $1000.00 and males are $600.00 to $800.00 depending on color.

here is some good info on the markings found here >> http://www.newcastleboxers.com/inheritance.shtml

There are two coat colors in Boxers, fawn and brindle. Fawn ranges from pale tan to dark deer-red (mahogany). Brindle is actually a stiping pattern, not a color - all brindle dogs have a fawn ground color. Brindling is influenced by what are called "modifiers", so the black stripes of a brindle can be sparse (but clearly defined) to so heavy that the fawn ground color barely shows through. The latter are often called "reverse", "seal", or "black" brindles. It is important to point out, however, that "black" brindles are still brindles - the Boxer does not carry the gene for a black coat color. There are those who try to sell their "rare black" Boxers - however every one of these dogs that we have run across either does have some fawn on it, or is very obviously not a purebred Boxer.

The goal here is not to get into a thorough discussion of genetics. Sue Ann Bowling has written excellent articles on canine coat color genetics, basic genetics, and several other topics relevant to dog breeding.

Every Boxer carries two coat color genes, inheriting one from each of its parents. There are two different genes for coat color - fawn and brindle.

As you can see from the pics the sire is a reverse sealed brindle, if you were to see him in person and rub his coat backwards he does have some brown underneath but the top coat is extremely dark brown to black. He is a purebred boxer with papers and champion blood lines... but thanks for the info....

I was not degrading your dogs at all, they look great!! I really like your Female. I was just posting some info about Boxer markings. I dont like it when People say they have a special color such as White or Black. Breeders and those that show there dog in the ring do not recognize the Whites or Black they do recongnize reverse brindal. Here is the info From AKC below. Do you show your dogs? is this the first litter? they are not here yet and you are pricing them to as what marking they will have.

Here is what the AKC says
Color
The colors are fawn and brindle. Fawn shades vary from light tan to mahogany. The brindle ranges from sparse but clearly defined black stripes on a fawn background to such a heavy concentration of black striping that the essential fawn background color barely, although clearly, shows through (which may create the appearance of reverse brindling). White markings, if present, should be of such distribution as to enhance the dog's appearance, but may not exceed one-third of the entire coat. They are not desirable on the flanks or on the back of the torso proper. On the face, white may replace part of the otherwise essential black mask, and may extend in an upward path between the eyes, but it must not be excessive, so as to detract from true Boxer expression. The absence of white markings, the so-called "plain" fawn or brindle, is perfectly acceptable, and should not be penalized in any consideration of color. Disqualifications Boxers that are any color other than fawn or brindle. Boxers with a total of white markings exceeding one-third of the entire coat."

Good luck with your sales.

Thanks for the info... Yes this is my girls first litter. The stud is not mine. He is a beautiful dog but dont think I am going to use him again.. They wanted way to much for the stud fee. I do have pics of a pup from his last litter with a very beautiful fawn boxer and on the puppy (who also looks black) you can see the fawn color better then on the stud... This female is not a show dog but my other female is and when she gets bred it will be with a champion stud. I can really tell the difference between this female and the one that cost 5 times more than she did as far as show quality... I really like the pups you have for sale, if the time were right I would diffinately want to come look at them... Thanks and good luck with your sale also....

*on the studs papers it lists him as a brindle...

Hi there,

OMG 10!! I have a friend awaiting her Irish Setter litter to arrive in a couple of weeks. Her chances of getting that many are pretty good too. The oldest son can't wait for them to arrive. He's been showing both the mom and dad, so he kind of has a vested interest in the litter. Of course I co-own the dad.
