After watching nearly everyone in my family have some sort of health crisis, I decided to take a little better care of myself. I cut out junk food/pop (which I didn't really consume that much of), red meat and salt (which I put on absolutely everything), and joined the YMCA. I didn't really care too much about losing weight, but I lost 30+ lbs. The main thing is I'm 10x healthier than I was before.
I can't wait for the weather to improve. I used to ride my bike about 14 miles a night for 3-4 nights a week then usually 26 miles or more on the weekend.
Notice anything different about your energy levels during the day? I'm more consistent, and not spiking and crashing every couple hours like I was after eating garbage.
