Default 9" detroit locker big bang??

While driving the jeep around the other day i pull onto the main street and the rear end makes a loud BANG like the locker disingaged. I have heard it a few times before... only does it once and pulls to one side. Is this somthing i should be worried about?? It had been sitting for a good time prier to driving it.

Check the air pressures of the rear tires for a difference.

I never like ratcheting lockers (If thats what a detroit is??) because of this

My lock-rite use to do it regularly - often while accelerating down an onramp that has a sweeping curve to it. And in a SWB you will use some lane when it happens

To be honest, it dosn't make alot of noise. It is a ratchet type locker. I do feel it when i step on the gas as it will pull. Also when you let off the gas it will veer to one side a bit. I know it happens so I'm ready to deal with it. It dosn't pull me to the next lane...just a little nudge.

I just may not hear it because of the loud exhaust
