Default Video game coming spring/summer this year to consoles ONLY

Force Unleashed

The combination of the physics engines will change the landscape of FPS style games forever. The lack of support of a port to PC at all really upsets me. Hayden actually stated the game was so intensive that only the ps3 and xbox360 could really harness what they were doing beyond the pc's of the 5 biggest geeks on the internet. Obviously he thinks we're just stupid and not realize that a ps3/xbox360 are nothing more than Pentium 2's with DX10 comparable video cards hardwired in. I understand the ease of the cost burden being able to focus on console setups, but a multi console supported game should be ported to all possible platforms over time. Even Mac's got Diablo for christs sake.

The trailer looks sweet (but don't they almost always)

for some reason, I have never liked playing fps games on a console.

I guess I've just always been much more comfortable with one hand on keyboard, and the other on the mouse - since the very first Doom it's just been more intuitive to me.

It's easier on a keyboard; wsad on the keyboard to move and the mouse to aim. On the XBOX you got like the blue, red, yellow, and green buttons; Along with two odd feeling joysticks, four L and R buttons on the top and a bunch of other weird buttons. They are making consoles WAY too confusing for what they are and what they do.

The Wii I can do though, so much easier to use.

I can do some of the over the shoulder, and/or "rotated view" games like ratchet and clank and such - but whenever I take on "first person view" in most of those games on the PS2/PS1 etc. I lose situational awareness very rapidly, have quite a bit more issues with acquiring the next target, etc.

interestingly enough (or perhaps not so :p ) is that I don't usually have issues at all with driving/flying simulations on the consoles.

weird.

I have 2 Logitech rumblepads for the pc I use and they're essentially PS3/Xbox cloned controllers. They work great for FPS's that don't have alot of other stuff to switch thru. Move around with the left stick and aim with the other.

I played Call of Juarez for about 15 minutes before I had to put it down. Some games I get crazy vertigo from is my issue.

I'm also disappointed about the lack of PC support for this title.

I've got a usb rumbly game pad that I bought for the PC like 4 years ago - found I really didn't like using a console style game pad for pc games.

guess the keyboard is just more intuitive for me given that I spend so dang much time on one already. *Shrug*

I think one reason i prefer the gamepad for fps's is it lets me sit further back from the monitor and not get vertigo as much. I do blame the game graphics depending on the game. There are some shitty ones after all.

I like my gamepad for all of my roms. those old snes games dont feel right without a controller. I also use it on some of the simpler shooters, but i find that more complex games end up lacking if you use the gamepad.
