Default valpack.com / jbdollar.com

has anyone used these mailers to advertise thier business?
valpack.com is the blue envelope, jbdollar.com is another one.
I have been thinking about using them. I'm just curious if anyone has used them, how well it worked. And more importantly how much it costs.

Thanks,

Scott

We use Valpak at work. Plumbing services, We track all our advertising dollars and we feel its a great return. We can tell when they go out just by the calls that come in. We have used them for several years.

I used to sell them about 20 yrs ago. Its the right medium for the right product/service. Captivates appropriate geographic area.

I've never used them, but have opened a few of those envelopes up.

Sure, a lot of people throw that in the trash. But, the elderly love that stuff. Valpack's been around forever, so the oldsters trust them, and believe that anybody that advertises with them must be trustworthy. Plus, the mail is old school, and elderly people are old school too.

On top of that, browsing through the mail and the newspaper is a daily event for old folks, it's something they look forward to. I know my grandmother had her carpets cleaned by somebody that had a coupon in a valpack envelope, and I've personally watched her spend hours looking at every little thing that comes in the mail.

Thats funny. I'll get 20-30items in the mail, know what all of it is...and most of it goes straight to the shredder. Takes all of 30seconds.
