Default Heavy Duty Casters $20 per set of four

Whatever your needs, I'm sure I have a set of casters to fill them.
Paypal accepted, UPS and USPS shipping available. I can save you a couple bucks if I ship to a business address.

Cushion-Center Caster Rigid, 5" X 1-3/8" Nylon Wheel, 440# Cap
Cushion-Center Caster Swivel, 5" X 1-3/8" Nylon Wheel, Total Lock, 440#Cap

The swivel action is welded. Cut the weld to allow them to swivel.

Yes. Out of this bunch, I'd use the GD-60s. Each caster has a 550# rating, they have the lowest profile, and a screw brake. Get 16 of them and make for dollys each having a 2150# capacity (I knocked off 50# for materials in case you use 4x4 wood or mucho steel). The GD-60 is the only type in which I have enough quantity for a dolly set.

The other casters are perfect for shop carts, workbenches, the big ass buzz-box, etc.

Yes, but only if I'm allowed to use your forehead as a tire spoon.

Would like four that can support at least 1000# combined and all need to swivel and easy to roll around. Which do you recommend?

Any of the casters will meet your needs as long you're rolling them on a hard surface. The "lightest" caster (4th from top) has ~300# each rating (IIRC).

What are you building? To select which is best for your application, you need to consider:

Mounting: do you prefer the flat plate or square stem?

Is the wheel diameter important? Taller wheels roll easer and provide more space under the frame.

Do you need brakes?
